Monkey Diaper Cake

Nearly any design is possible for diaper cakes. Nevertheless, a recent hot item has been a monkey diaper cake. While makers like Rattlecake create many animal-themed designs, monkeys are always in demand, and, as a result, many options for a monkey diaper cake are available in our store. Each is made from 100 to 150 diapers – Pampers Swaddlers or organic Seventh Generation – spread over three or four tiers. Attached to the outside is a plush monkey, and several other baby products ranging from blankets and clothes to bath products and small toys are also included.

Diaper cakes are often the centerpiece for a baby shower, and a large cake by Rattlecake compliments the party’s décor and is practical for new parents. All items at a baby shower should be fun and practical, and a monkey diaper cake has both of these qualities. Not only does the cake have a large supply of diapers and many other items that new parents will need, but each has a soft monkey perched on top or hanging on the side.

A stuffed monkey is a gender-neutral toy, and both baby girls and boys will have fun playing with it over the next few years. Many monkey diaper cake designs are made to be neutral or unisex and will blend in with any pink, blue, or neutral party décor. Most sold through Rattlecake use a combination of green, yellow, or brown, but can be customized in any color. In general, the cake itself is decorated with brown and green ribbon and similarly-colored baby products; the stuffed monkey, then, blends right in. Instead of a color scheme, however, some monkey diaper cakes stay with an animal theme. This monkey diaper cake, for example, has a large stuffed monkey hanging from the side and several smaller plush safari animals on the tiers.

The cake, of course, becomes useful as soon as the baby shower is over. The 100 to 150 diapers making up each give parents an early supply to the amount they’ll need for a new baby. The smaller items, including the stuffed monkey, will also be of use for the first year.
