About Rattlecake

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am the owner of Rattlecake Diaper Cakes.  I started this company in 2008 shortly after the birth of my son, Xavier.  Being a stay at home mom was wonderful, but then the company really started to take off!  I originally set up shop in one room of my home and that quickly grew into four.  In 2010 we opened our first retail location in Cumming, Georgia (see photo below).  In less than a year we outgrew the space and in June of 2011 we moved Rattlecake to a larger building in Sugar Hill, Georgia! 

Our larger "workshop" in Sugar Hill allows us to efficiently construct our diaper cakes in a professional setting and gives us the opportunity to interact with our local customers face to face.  We attribute the rapid growth of our business to not only our satisfied customers, but also to the word of mouth advertising that those customers have provided for us.

Quality Ingredients

At Rattlecake.com you can find a variety of diaper cakes with various prices and quality ingredients.  In my diaper cakes I only use brand name, well-known ingredients such as Carter’s, Gerber, Bright Starts, Little Tikes, Curel, Johnson’s, and Safety 1st.  The diapers I use include Pampers Swaddlers and Earth's Best Organic.  I have personally tried most of the different brands of diapers with my own son and I feel that these three brands are the best on the market today.  These brand names are very familiar to new parents and help them to feel comfortable in using the products on their new baby.   

Handmade With Care

When you give one of my diaper cakes as a gift, you can rest assured that it was created by a mother that knows how important it is to maintain a clean environment.   Each cake is handmade in my smoke free and pet free design studio.  I always wash my hands prior to working on my cakes to insure that the diapers and ingredients remain as sterile as possible.  The diapers I include in my cakes are never opened and remain fully usable by the baby.  Once my diaper cake is complete, I immediately place it in the cellophane wrap with the ingredient card and tie the top with matching ribbon and a handmade gift tag.  I have very high standards for my diaper cakes and my passion for creating unique and practical designs will ensure my cakes stand out above the rest.

I love creating new diaper cake designs and dedicate my time to making each cake unforgettable.  I am constantly looking through magazines for new and interesting ideas in order to keep up with all of the current trends.  When you take one of my unique diaper cakes to a baby shower, hospital, or just a visit to see the new arrival, it is sure to be a hit! 

Practical
